Peterpan music group formed in Bandung, West Java with six personnel, each Nazril Irham aka Ariel (vocals), Mohammad Hikmat Kautsar alias Uki (guitar), Ryan Reza Ilsyah (drums), Loekman Judge (guitar), Andika Naliputra Wirahardja (keyboards), and Indra (bass).
But in November 2006, two members, Andika and Indra was fired from the band. The split was triggered by the different principles of creativity, while Ariel said it had no problems since the launch of the first album, Garden of Heaven. ST12, an musical homage to the music melayu, which was formed in Bandung by Ilham Febry aka Pepep (drums), Dedy Sudrajat alias Pepeng (guitar), Muhammad aka Charly Charly van Houten (vocals), and Iman Rush (guitar).
